“I want to complaaaaaaaaaaaaaainnnnnn!!!”
That used to be a joke on its own, mocking a common Singaporean mantra. This joke seems dated now, but I’ve recently summoned my complainism spirit, and you can laugh all you want.
Don’t know if service performance here is losing its acclaimed standard or that I’ve become just that bit more fussy, but I’ve had many grievances especially at the start of my current holiday. With Cathay and Nokia in particular.
I’m too lazy to elaborate on my ill experience with Cathay’s food service, just that it was pretty screwed up, and of course I voiced my displeasure, both verbal and written.
Despite the rather long wait, I received my $10 F&B voucher and movie premiums (The Dark Knight iPod skin, and 2 Nina Ricci perfume samples)! Hand delivered to my door (they claimed I didn’t receive their mail)!
Yes yes I possess traits of a whiny never-contented Singaporean or a calculative auntie, but hey, I don’t mind receiving compensation for bad experience, do you?

Anyone wants The Dark Knight iPod skin?
