I received the above in my mail, with a card, in a plain flat envelope, no bubble whatsoever, on a blue-monkey-socks-wearing day (you made it just in time huh). A very lovely surprise, and I think about how the Reese’s underwent countless transferrals from containers, hands, and was possibly squashed under the weight of so much mail in the cargo compartment of a plane flying across the Pacific or maybe the Atlantic; how ants or other insects may have desired the peanut butter chocolate especially after it melted under all the heat and compression but couldn’t get past the paper and seal; or how the postman warned you the chocs will spoil because it’s gonna take “8 years, m’am”…okay I’m not very coherent here but well…

Despite the possibility that the chocolates may be spoilt, I ate the 2 cups of white Reese’s today and it was really really sweet (of you, and the chocolate too).
