Lowering Cholesterol

Think about what you must abstain from if you have high cholesterol: seafood (already a list on its own: prawns, crabs, lobsters, mussels, clams), egg yolks, chicken skin, duck skin, coconut milk, butter, etc. All these food (and more) increases your LDL(bad) cholesterol which leads to the clogging of arteries. And just like a traffic jam due to a five-car pileup on the PIE, a sufficiently blocked artery will not allow blood to flow through. A heart attack can and will very well happen.

If you don’t want to be popping pills like me every night to control my cholesterol level, in addition to Chinese supplements to protect my liver, either seriously watch your diet, or check out a daily supplement like Vasacor that claims to be made of natural ingredients designed to improve and support healthy cholesterol levels.

A doctor once told me that one’s cholesterol level is 30% diet and 70% genes. If you’ve got familial hypercholesterolaemia, medication might be your best bet. These are cholesterol facts.

Always seek your doctor’s advice before swallowing any pill.
