Thanks Zack. The wrenched heart is warmed to know that he made so much difference in people's lives during his short 23 years. Thanks also for the prayers.

It already felt painful knowing a young stranger with a bright and promising future has to lose his life this way. It must be more heart-wrenching when he is your own long-lost friend whom you have hoped and come close to be reunited with - only to be separated again... forever. Our prayers go with Reuben and the other 4 young heroes. We may share a different religion, we may be of a different race, and we may not share the same interest in dragonboating, but nevertheless we feel the deep pain like we have lost our own good friend. May they rest in peace... also let their legacy live on forever.

Thank you Aibyouka-kun. He was someone really special to all of us. He led a fulfilling life, and your being moved at his music is precisely what he sought after. :). Thank you very much for your comment, and I wish you all the best too.

I really wish i could've met Reuben in person. I first found out about him looking for Mugen related stuff, and found out he also did remixes and beautiful piano arrangements. The eulogy as well as his 'Rest in Peace' solo made me cry, he's very lucky to have had a friend like you. I hope the best for his and your family, as well as his dearly departed self.

Hi,
I am a neighbour of Reuben and I hope that some friends of his who attends his wake at bishan takes note of this.

at this very moment I can hear his family crying out loud. yet since yesterday, groups of youngsters attending his wake are laughing and joking away. please let your friends know of the situation and that the family is very upset. this morning I can even hear people shouting apart from the laughing. this is afterall a wake for a young man.

i'm so sorry to hear that one of them was your longtime friend.

life is indeed vulnerable and can be so unpredictably short.
