These days I keep feeling like I’m the last to know things that concern me most. Haha, first it was the article that got published before I was aware of it, then now this email came to my school email (that I rarely check) on Wednesday morning but I only checked the school email just now after a schoolmate told me that another student received the long-awaited news. With bated breath, I read:
Dear ******* *** (UBC Student Number: ********)
Congratulations, you have been accepted to the University of British Columbia as an exchange student.
Term dates at UBC are as follows and include the examination period:
Term 1: September 4 to December 19, 2007 inclusively
Term 2: January 7 to April 11, 2008 inclusively
Your official Acceptance Letter is on its way and will be received by your school soon. Your Acceptance Letter will contain details regarding how to proceed.
Congratulations again. We look forward to seeing you at UBC.
