I (supposedly) enjoy a one-week break every May due to China’s national holiday to celebrate Labour Day. The formula to be able to have a 7-day holiday works such that we have to replace certain days on the weekend before the break so that we can have 7 consecutive days of holiday.

I’ve learnt that sometimes you have to descend from some height before you can scale greater heights — climbing to the summits involves lots of climbing down before clambering up again.
Although we took the cable car up, there was still a long way to mount and dismount before reaching our hotel.
