Happy 2007
Posted by: Squareface In: Ramblings| Taking in; on; and to Shanghai (or China in general)
Hey everyone, Happy 2007! Years are going by faster and faster, aren’t they?
I used to make it a point to have plenty of new stationery to welcome the new school year — new pens, new notebooks, new files, etc. But those routinely joyous salad days are now called the old days.
Life is short, so do you have anything in particular you’re set out to get down to this year? Things you wanna do before you die? Try smoking? Attempt fishing? Get down to learning how to belly dance?
Although Christmas is not an official holiday in China, nor is it celebrated by the majority, the New Year does hold some significance, albeit much less than the Lunar New Year (called the Spring Festival).
祝大家元旦节快乐 。
